Honored to celebrate our scholars today at Schreiner University’s Academic Achievement Ceremony, recognizing those who achieved high GPAs on the President’s List and Dean’s List, alongside our Marvin A. Singleton STEM Scholarship recipients.
Our keynote speaker, Dr. Aisling Costello, shared a powerful Irish proverb: “Asking is the door to knowledge.”
She reminded us that true curiosity doesn’t have to be loud. Often, it is a quiet, persistent curiosity, the courage to ask questions in moments of uncertainty, to view setbacks as essential parts of the journey, and to keep knocking when doors seem closed.
Education isn’t about having all the answers, but possessing the perseverance to keep asking. Warmest congratulations to our students on their exceptional achievements, and sincere gratitude to the faculty, staff, and families who walk alongside them.
