I am pleased to share that my sole-authored research article, “Artificial Intelligence as a Structured Field of Becoming: a Whiteheadian Ontology for the Technological World,” has been published by Springer Nature in the top-tier journal at the intersection of Education, Technology, and Philosophy, Postdigital Science and Education.
As generative AI reshapes higher education and society, developing rigorous philosophical frameworks to guide its integration becomes essential. Drawing on Alfred North Whitehead’s process thought, this paper approaches AI not as a static instrument, but as a dynamic “structured field of becoming.” It proposes a relational ontology to examine how human agency and algorithmic systems continuously co-create our shared technological reality.
Thanks to Springer Nature, they provided me a link to share with you. I am happy to share a free link to the full text here: 🔗 https://rdcu.be/LExZAcyxzvfa
My sincere thanks to the journal’s editor, Dr. Petar Jandrić, for his thoughtful guidance throughout the editorial and review process, and to my colleagues and the academic community for the continuous engagement. I look forward to the conversations this work may foster.
